A-SAFE has exported its way to success, featuring in the Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100 for a third consecutive year in a row.

The annual league table recognises Britain’s top 100 small to medium enterprises (SMEs) with the fastest growing international sales based on the previous two years’ performance. During this period, A-SAFE’s international sales increased by almost 40%, generating over £12 million in sales revenue outside the UK.

A-SAFE is one of nine companies headquartered in Yorkshire to make the list this year, advancing eight positions compared with its 2016 ranking, and marking a significant increase in success and profits for organisations based in the region.

The export business has grown rapidly in recent years, confirming A-SAFE’s leading position in the international market for fixed polymer safety barriers. To help meet global demand, offices have been set up in 12 countries, along with a network of over 60 resellers operating across the world.

James Smith, Co-Owner and Director at A-SAFE said: “It’s a fantastic achievement to be ranked in the SME Export Track 100 for the third year in a row, and the recognition comes at a particularly exciting time as we roll out our new product RackEye™ - a revolutionary safety system for racking structures. Thanks to all of our clients and staff for their continued support during this busy and exciting period.”

RackEye™ is a first of its kind for A-SAFE as the product uses a SmartSense algorithm to track and instantly report damage to racking legs via a remote app and digital dashboard, ready to vastly improve health and safety in warehouses around the world.
