A-SAFE barriers are designed with a layered structure that works in three stages when impact occurs:
The outer layer deforms under load, absorbing the force of the strike and helping prevent it from transferring into the surrounding structure.
The inner core manages energy distribution, helping reduce the peak load transmitted to floors, anchor points, and nearby equipment or infrastructure.
Once the impact force has passed, the barrier returns to its original position, ready for the next strike without requiring replacement.
