Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is the UK’s largest car manufacturer, with headquarters based in Coventry. Jaguar Land Rover designs, develops, manufactures and sells both Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.
SITUATION
The automotive brand needed to address recurring issues with steel guardrails which were permanently deforming beyond repair after impacts with forklift trucks, causing damage to concrete and flaking from corrosion. JLR also wanted to ensure that they had a uniform aesthetic to provide brand consistency across multiple new state-of-the-art facilities.
SOLUTION
A-SAFE manufactured, supplied and installed Single Traffic+ Guardrail throughout the automotive facility, replacing under-performing steel guardrails with long lasting and robust combined pedestrian and vehicle guardrails to segregate and protect. The guardrails also ensured protection for state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.
