We are looking for detailed oriented Installation Supervisor who can continue to build and enhance our talented team of professionals in a rapidly growing company.

Primary roles and responsibilities

  • Establish and develop installation capability for the company throughout the U.S. to generate an additional revenue source for the company
  • Initially perform and supervise the installation and inspection work required at customer sites to ensure our products are installed according to manufacturer’s instructions, to ensure maximum performance
  • Review our installation pricing structure to enable all product quotes presented to customers to include an optional installation feature, based on scope of work and geographical location
  • Administer all aspects of installation from quoting to on-site supervision of contracted 3rd party installers as required for successful installation execution of the company’s products at customer sites
  • Ensure all on-site work is carried out effectively and efficiently in compliance with local law and safety regulations
  • Project manage all contracts for installation using 3rd party contractors in the most cost-effective way (occasional need to perform in-house installs when convenient)
  • Support training of local 3rd party installers in order to achieve factory ‘approved’ status capability, with yearly assessment
  • As needed travel to customer sites to perform product installation inspections (expected travel in the 50%+ range)
  • Liaise with and coordinate 3rd party installers ensuring they have all the necessary documentation to perform the contracted installation work to the maximum efficiency
  • Obtain quotes and issue PO’s to 3rd party installers, ensuring internal documentation is collated and saved in corresponding project folders, including all associated communications
  • Develop internal procedural documentation to ensure collation of information prior to, during and following contracted installations
  • A ‘can do’ attitude with resourcefulness to solve problems quickly and efficiently

Qualifications and experience

  • Associates degree or time served in a technical role
  • 2+ years in a progressively responsible similar role preferred
  • Demonstrate a technical attitude
  • Willingness to travel nationally/international (Canada) at short notice when needed (50%+)
  • Capability of working with Microsoft office software including Excel and Outlook
  • Full product training will be provided
  • The position requires the applicant to hold a current US passport
