The Role

  • You would be working on our IoT safety products that evaluates data and makes the results accessible to a range of customers including international corporations
    deploying thousands of devices. You will be working closely with management to understand the requirements and discuss project sizes and time frames, as well as defining processes and procedures.
  • Defining and documenting the software architecture for embedded IoT safety systems.
  • Ensuring all inter-process relationships are understood and documented.
  • Defining and documenting the software architecture for embedded IoT safety systems.
  • Working alongside systems engineers and software developers to define and document functional requirements related to the software architecture. 
  • Ensuring all inter-process relationships are understood and documented and all potential race conditions are mitigated. Tracing software requirements to the software    architecture.
  • Lead participant in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting the code as per the company policies and procedures.
  • Supporting fault isolation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities during system integration and validation testing will be essential.


The Candidate

  • Experienced C programmer.
  • Strong Linux background.
  • Experience of network protocols and programming of networked hardware & software.
  • Experienced in Real-time Embedded Software development.
  • Highly experienced in C/C++ software programming.
  • Experience of RTOS and Linux.
  • Relevant degree in associated discipline such as Electronics Engineering, Computer Science etc.
  • Safety Critical systems development (MISRA C/C++).
  • ARM Cortex.
  • Networking.
  • RF communications systems.
