The Role

As our Quality Manager your key responsibility will be to manage, drive & promote Quality in all our operations. You will be the key contact on Quality for all stakeholders. Also leading our quality team & quality management systems framework

  • Leading on quality in operations under the guidance of the Head of Group Operations.
  • Ensuring best in class quality management systems to support operations & promote quality.
  • Managing all quality-related issues within manufacturing (internal, supplier, customer and warranty) ensuring adherence to QMS - ISO 9001 - 2015.
  • Identifying root cause and instigating corrective and preventative actions in line with NCR process
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues to minimise compromising quality standards
  • Leading & managing quality auditing activities & reporting on quality related KPIs to prevent NCRs.
  • Promoting quality awareness throughout business operations
  • Promoting the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as six sigma, Poke-Yoke, Jikoda and other applicable tools
  • Assisting in management of Supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Continuous improvement and Kaizen activities

The Candidate

  • An experienced Quality professional to drive the highest standards & conformance
  • Experienced in implementing & maintaining a QMS
  • Relevant quality qualification & experience
  • Working within a fast-paced world class manufacturing environment & capable of understanding engineering drawings & manufacturing processes.
  • Team leadership – able to motivate and inspire a Quality Team to high performance
  • Good knowledge of quality & measurement systems & application of quality tools
  • Engages interest and participation of others
  • Lateral thinker and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good communication, planning & organisational skills
  • Experience of Quality Assurance techniques
