We are growing our Health & Safety team with the new position of HSE Advisor. We are looking for a competent and experienced HSE professional reporting to the HSE Manager. This includes assisting in the planning and development of systems & procedures to deliver HSE efficiencies within Operations. Also, environmental legal compliance and targets.

Protection, segregation, detection and prevention, with integrated engineering and technological innovation.

A-SAFE’s products are used by the world’s largest organisations. Airports like Heathrow and Singapore, the production facilities of BMW and Jaguar Land Rover, and warehouses and distribution centres for DHL and Amazon.

The role

  • Support Operations with all HSE related aspects, including COSSH & Risk Assessments.
  • Assist with accident investigation and monitor trends.
  • Assist with the creation and review of SSoW including the PtW system.
  • Assist with the company's internal and external audit program.
  • Ensure the company follows all legal and other requirements relating to HSE.
  • Provide HSE support service to department and managers including guidance on HSE legislation and issues.
  • Assist with HSE and IMS awareness training.
  • Statistics, data collection and reporting .
  • Assist the business to achieve and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditations
  • Ensure the company HSE system is kept up to date.
  • Attend HSE meetings across the business, as required, and help to ensure all areas are performing root cause analysis to correct all issues.
  • Assist with HSE aspects of the NPI process.


The Candidate

·Minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate Level 3 or equivalent.

·Robust knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation & best practice and appropriate industry specific qualifications.

·Experience of maintaining a HSE Management System.

·Experience of carrying out workplace audits.

·MS Office proficient

·Lateral thinker and problem solver

·Enthusiastic team player

·Willingness to try new things, pioneering approaches
