The Role

  • Telephone based outbound lead generation and qualified appointment setting in a B2B environment.
  • Working with external Area Manager(s) accurately forecasting, working sales pipeline & successfully closing business.
  • Researching, identifying & developing short & long term selling opportunities.
  • Specific campaign follow-up including some cold calling campaigns.
  • On all inbound and outbound leads, open-up the conversation, follow solution selling structure to develop & identify the clear needs & requirements, agree timescales & budget authorities resulting in qualified appointments placed into external area manager’s diary.
  • Achieving sales & invoicing targets.
  • Work successfully in target based environment delivering on KPIs as defined & directed.
  • Develop CRM database to increase the number of prospects within your area and ensure all are contacted & developed in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure all existing customers are contacted for additional requirements & replacements.
  • Achieve targeted number of outbound dial outs.
  • Achieve target number of appointments booked.
  • Successful conversion of inbound lead to qualified appointment.
  • Clearly identify the opportunity on all appointments booked & input to CRM.
  • Enabling the sales process, understanding obstructions & or objections, resolving & successfully appointing the lead or closing the business.
  • Demonstrate high levels of motivation & drive, share success with colleaguesEnsure all activities are accurately logged on CRM system for analysis & reporting.
  • Clear & direct communication with colleagues, prospects & customers.

The Candidate

  • Knowledge of solution-based sales process.
  • Proven track record of telemarketing & qualified appointment making.
  • Experience in outbound lead generation / telesales.
  • High levels of motivation, persistence & tenacity to drive & deliver the outbound calling strategy.
  • Passion for delivering good service.
  • Positive & enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to targets within a fast pace, ever changing environment.
  • Ability to speak to a varied range of customers.
  • Show initiative and willing to works as a team as well as individually.
