The A-SAFE website has been developed using modern, professional, and standardised techniques which aim to allow full web page access to all users, regardless of browser, platform, device or disability.
To help make the A-SAFE website accessible and rewarding for each user, we’ve used valid HTML and CSS, conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, level A. It has also been designed to support all browsers and latest versions with above 3% usage.
The A-SAFE website is intended to work correctly on the latest version of the following browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari and is also built to adapt for use on mobile devices, including iPhone, iPad and Android phones.
To increase or decrease text size, use your browser’s text resize options (usually accessed by selecting: ‘view’ > ‘text size’ or by pressing Ctrl+ (to increase) or Ctrl- (to decrease) on your keyboard.
Where text sits on a yellow background, the font has been bolded to provide the necessary contrast from an accessibility point of view.
A-SAFE has endeavoured to create a website that meets the accepted guidelines for accessibility, but if you are unable to access any part of this website, please email us at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help.
