Overview

• Often industrial workplaces and warehousing will have areas busy with pedestrians and vehicles.
• Defining traffic routes and pedestrian routes is the best way of protecting personnel, buildings and equipment.
• Using the right protection for each application is key to protecting personnel, buildings and equipment. Traffic and personnel together requires something strong enough to stop the vehicle but also designed to guide and segregate people.

The Following Barriers are examples available:

• Traffic Barrier with Pedestrian Rail Attachment is ideal for use around standard FLT’s with a 300mm impact height and a hand rail mounted behind to guide and protect pedestrians. The impact height can be altered to suit different vehicles.
• Traffic Plus barrier has the hand rail post coming through the traffic barrier. Requires less room than the Traffic barrier with PRA.
• Impact Barrier Plus is a double rail traffic barrier system with hand rail post coming through the traffic barrier. Very strong protection.

  Technical Information

  • Impact Barrier Plus has been tested with an impact force of 304Kn. This is the equivalent of a 1.5 tonne vehicle travelling at 15 miles per hour.
  • The traffic barrier impact height should match the vehicles impact heights. The Hand rail section should have a height of 1100mm
