Bollard Interlinked CP

The Bollard Interlinked CP column protectors are similar to the Post & Rail CP column protectors but the posts used are the much heavier duty 200mm OD, 1200mm high bollard corner posts. They are suitable for protection of columns of any size with any section shape, square, rectangular, circular or irregular. As standard the protectors are supplied as a square or rectangular section comprising four 200mm OD, 1200mm corner posts with four horizontal rail sets of three rails running between the corner posts. Two standard protectors are available. One for column sections up to 1250mm and a second for column sections between 1250 and 1750mm, larger size protectors are available on request. The length of the rail sets are sized to suit the shape and size of the column being protected. The Bollard Interlinked CP protector provides protection to a height of 1200mm

The protectors can be supplied as two or three sided units to provide protection for columns located at the corner of two walls or in front of walls. A 2500mm high six rail version of the protector is available if protection to a height greater than 1200mm is required.

Applications and Benefits

These protectors are the heaviest duty product in the Column Protection range and can be used in industrial, manufacturing, commercial or public environments where the vehicles operated in areas near the columns require that heavy duty protection is needed.

In industrial, warehouse and manufacturing environments they are suitable for use where counter balance FLTs up to 4500kg or reach FLTs up to 4200kg are operating. In loading/unloading areas and commercial and public environments they are suitable for use where heavier goods vehicles are present. Like all A-Safe products their high visibility alone is often enough to prevent costly damage occurring.

  • The bollard corner posts used on the Bollard Interlinked Column Protectors will withstand impact forces up to 360KN
  • Rotating circular wear collars are fitted as standard at the bottom of the 200mm OD corner posts to provide additional impact protection and absorption against glancing impacts from vehicle wheels or low vehicle skirts.
