Car Park Barrier Single Rail

Car Park Barrier

The barrier of choice designed and tested specifically to provide the required levels of edge protection and vehicle restraint and containment at the perimeters of single level or multi-storey car parks and comprises of a 200mm single rail with an overall height of 560mm. Its impact height is 440mm. Post centres are 1600mm. A simple adaption of the standard product also makes it suitable to meet the requirements of barriers for use on Ramp Edge, Long Access Lane End and Split Level Deck Edge Protection applications also found in multi-storey car parks. For this particular product there is a choice of either A-Safe’s standard yellow and black or grey, to reflect the more traditional grey steel ‘armco’; all are compliant with current car park regulations. In a car park even a low speed impact with a perimeter structure, or worse a pedestrian, can lead to expensive damage repair or serious injury.

For raised single level car parks and on the upper or split levels in multi-storey car parks, a vehicle driven off an edge or a pedestrian falling off an edge can have even more severe consequences.

Applications and Benefits

Very specifically used for all car park situations and solutions, helping to avoid serious damage to vehicles occurring after accidental parking incidents. Gives edge protection in multi-storey car parks, as well as being adaptable in its flexibility for use in guiding and protecting access ramps, segregation lanes and split edges. In conjunction with other A-Safe products, like bollards, A-Safe can provide a total solution for car park safety.
