Gate Accessories

The gates have various accessories to enhance their usability according to working conditions. These are mainly stops and locks. Stops can be used to stop the gate opening for either side and can be fitted either to the interface post or a wall mounted, but only available for the Swing gates. There are two types of lock available: the top lock is used gate to gate and gate to post. This is a loop pinned and hinged on the top rail of the gate and fastens over the adjacent gate or interface post. The other is the ‘Monkey Tail’ drop bolt used to secure gates at the bottom. Top locks can be fitted padlocks for extra security.

Applications and Benefits

These accessories are useful additions in improving safety in the workplace. Stops ensure that gate openings protect the designated flow of both pedestrian and vehicle traffic flow according to local conditions. The locks ensure that gates remain closed when they should and also enable the gate to remain open in the correct position.
